What to Expect

San Francisco

Wed 12 June & Thu 13 June

Join us in San Francisco for two days of CommCon goodness: a day of hacking (Wed 12 June) and a day of technical talks (Thu 13 June).

Bringing all the same cutting edge knowledge and good vibes that you’d expect from a CommCon full-scale residential to the US for the first time! Don’t miss out on this small-but-perfectly-formed event.

What is CommCon?

New here? Welcome!

CommCon is an event for real-time and open media folks to get together, share their knowledge and celebrate all things open source and open standards.

Cutting-edge technical content, great community and lots of fun!

Attendees make excellent new business connections and friends at the event. We're proud to offer a warm and welcoming IRL space to learn and problem-solve together.

We’ve been running since 2018. Sometimes we are a residential multi-day event, sometimes virtual, and this year we switching things up and going on tour 🚅✈️

Travel Info

Where to stay

Hotel Via and Hyatt Place are less than 5 min walk.

Hotel LUMA is about a 10 minute walk away.

Any hotel in the downtown area should work, and anything along or adjacent to Market St should be a 15-20min Uber ride / half-hour commute to Cloudflare.

TripAdvisor is always worth taking a look at for hotel-specific reviews about not just amenities but location :)

Important note: Hotel prices within SF can easily jump to $400+/night during weekdays, for the busier weeks, so we definitely recommend booking as early as possible.
